What should I know about the cup and acrylic container?
What should I know about the cup and acrylic container?
The cup is included with Yemini, though the exact cup style may vary slightly from the photos. The clear container is made from acrylic / Perspex, 4mm thick and doubled to 8mm when sealed.
Because the glass is broken by stepping on it under the chuppah, gentle cracks can appear at pressure points. After the ceremony, the container locks shut and should not be reopened, as this may damage the seal. We recommend keeping it upright and avoiding shaking so the broken glass stays elegant and glass dust is not released.
